Evilon is a Melodic Folk- & Death Metal band from Sweden.
With the album "A Warrior's Way", Evilon delved deeper into the swamp of beautiful folk melodies of old while still maintaining those aggressive, yet melodic, Melodic Death Metal riffs that have come to represent the scandinavian metal scene.
Evilon has been compared to other big Folk/Viking Metal bands, as well as a couple of Scandinavian Melodic Death Metal giants (Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Nightwish, Wintersun, Amorphis, Grimner etc).

Evilon is a swedish metalband that plays Folk Metal. The band was created in 2015 by Kenneth Evstrand and Jonny Sjödin. The band now consists of: Kenneth Evstrand - Guitar Tor Ragnarok Holt -Growling Vocals Kjell Rune Sønsthagen - Bass Robin Hurmalainen Persson - Drums David Rask - Guitar
During the winter of 2016 Evilon recorded its first EP called "Shores Of Evilon". It contains five songs written in 2016. The EP was recorded independently by Evilon and it was mixed and mastered by Big Balls Productions.
In June 2017, the recordings for a full length album began. One year later it was finished and the name was "Leviathan". The album contained ten new songs, full of great melodies, awesome vocals and heavy riffs! In February 2018 we signed a worldwide distribution contract with the Italian recordlabel Wormholedeath Records for the release of the album Leviathan. During 2019-2020, we have changed the line-up of the band, we are now a four piece band, Jonny has taken the position as our main growler. We have been focusing on getting our new line-up working and we have been writing new songs. As a result of the sound of the new songs, In 2022 Björn decided to leave the band, later the same year Kjell Rune joined the brotherhood!
Now in 2023 we released a new album called "A Warriors Way"! There has been line-up changes and we are now a five piece dynamite group!
