Dark metal with poetic German lyrics - melancholic, morbid and dark as the night!
With their 9 albums to date, Eden Weint Im Grab have established themselves as an independent band with serious artistic aspirations in the metal and gothic scene. The Berliners combine dark/gothic metal with classical string instruments such as violin and cello to create a unique sound, which the band itself describes as ‘heavy metal shivering romanticism’. This implies not only varied, catchy songwriting, but also spectacular, opulent live shows.
In the past, the band has shared the stage with bands such as Opeth, Samael, Amorphis, Letzte Instanz, Secrets Of The Moon, Diary Of Dreams, The Vision Bleak, Krypteria, Megaherz, Das Ich and Lacrimas Profundere, toured with Nachtblut and Coppelius and played at festivals such as Wave Gotik Treffen, M'era Luna, Darktroll and Castle Rock. All previous albums have always been well received by fans and the press, including in magazines such as Sonic Seducer, Orkus, Zillo, Gothic, Negatief and Piranha.
