Burnt to Death is a metal band that brings together the sound of the hardest 80's thrash, the darkest melodies of 90's black metal and both classic and current death metal.
Burnt to Death was founded by Solarfall in 2021. That same year, he reached out to Skoll for vocals, as they had previously worked on a project together but never managed to complete the line-up. Over time, life took them in different directions. In 2021, they recorded their first single, Unsharpened Blades. However, in 2022, Skoll had to leave the band due to personal reasons. To keep things moving, Solarfall took over vocal duties and went on to record the band's first EP, Doomed by Reality, which was released in 2023. After several attempts to establish a stable line-up, in 2024, Javi Pity—known for his drumming in Legacy of Brutality—joined the band to record Black Dragon. This album features guest solos by Davish G. from Angelus Apatrida and Richard Shaw, best known for his work with Cradle of Filth. The album was recorded, mixed, and mastered at Kollapse Studio by Iván Ferro and features cover art by the talented Ikosidio, while the video for “The Devil's Blood” was filmed and edited by Titi Muñoz. At the end of 2024, Kai joined the band to play bass, giving rise to the current lineup with which they continue to book new dates to present their work.
