The debut album is now available on cassette!
After more than 30 years of existance this is the first real full-length album by German Black Metal pioneers NORDLYS.
NORDLYS is a German black metal band from the first wave of black metal in Germany. The band was founded in 1994. With "Lichterglanz Finsternis", NORDLYS deliver an album that is firmly rooted in traditional black metal and deliberately draws on the stylistic elements of the past.
Simple yet clear in its vision and captivating in its execution, Nordlys draws from a deep well of darkness that few are truly able to channel. From the very beginning, it becomes clear: this is black metal that makes no compromises and preserves the essence of the old style. Nordlys does not attempt to redefine the sound, but rather to revive much of what many consider lost, and with “Lichterglanz Finsternis” defies time itself.
