The band was formed around year 2006 in Ternopil Ukraine. In 2009 Orthodox arrives at Hertz Studio and finally starts full-blown recording. The release date of the album was delayed to early 2011 and after that there was forced brake in activity.Orthodox was restored in 2013 with new members. In 2017 Orthodox was renamed Karpathian Relict.
The album is a combination of technical death metal and progressive music. In some places, there are also instrumental interludes on instruments that are rarely found in extreme music.
The album reflects what we ourselves like to listen to, and since each of us has completely different tastes, they tried to combine them in some way. We hope you enjoy discovering the tracks on the new album and that you'll come back to it again and again to experience our music in new ways each time.
