The album “Disznószív” by the band Hard Control from Gyöngyös is an old-school thrash/hardcore release that follows the genre’s hardest-hitting traditions. Released on 28 March 2026, the album was put out on CD by the label Jancsibohóc Rekordsz. The 13-track album is old-school thrash/hardcore at its finest. Hard-hitting, uncompromising Hungarian metal that follows the genre’s toughest traditions. Rural fury, a sound straight out of the basement – simply honest, raw energy straight from the Mátra foothills. The title track “Disznószív” and the sound of the album as a whole instantly make this record one of the most high-energy releases on the domestic underground scene. Circular-saw riffs, social commentary, inner tension – everything you’d expect is there. If you’re looking for the grittier side of the Hungarian underground scene, if you grew up with Social Free Face, Leukémia or the hardcore era of Cadaveres, then “Disznószív” is just the thing for you. The flagship act of the Gyöngyös hardcore/punk scene isn’t holding back this time either.
